The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature no sequels more the game and no season pass on the "Ultimate Collector's Edition".
Square Enix latest "Final Fantasy" sequel has made some very controversial news as Japanese video developers official moved "Final Fantasy XV" Nov. 29, which resulted many gaming fans angry and confused on what is going with its development.
Game director Hajime Tabata broke silenced and told IGN the real reason behind the "Final Fantasy XV" sudden change of launch date. Tabata stated that the original approach would have been a very large day one patch for "Final Fantasy XV", but in considering several people with no access to an internet connection, Square Enix advocated for a different decision instead.
Once the day one patch has been made, Tabata estimated that it would take roughly two months to put all of that content onto the game disc and use the delay to add a bit more polish in to it.
Tabata added that he and Square Enix will keep putting more volume and more content into "Final Fantasy XV", with that comes a load of extra debugging and polishing and optimization periods, so they really trying their best make the game as perfect and final as possible.
With that being in mind, fans are wondering if Square Enix be able to create more sequels or spin-offs for "Final Fantasy XV" in the future?
Tabata stated in seperate interview that Square Enix has not current plans in expanding "Final Fantasy XV" in the future.
In other news, the "Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector's Edition" will not include a season pass of the game.
Tabata and Art director Tomohiro Hasegawa answered several fans questions regarding the "Ultimate Collector's Edition" as it was completely sold out earlier this year.
Square Enix offered an additional allotment of 10,000 units, but no more are expected. Tabata and Hasegawa stated again that they will looked into making more but they were told that they still cannot make them soon.
Tabata and Hasegawa added that the "Ultimate Collector's Edition" of "Final Fantasy XV" will not include a season pass, which has became a strange mystery to the gaming fans since they have expected to have one from each "FFXV" pack, Gamespot reported.
Previous reports revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will have DLC episodes featuring Noctis' friends Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis. Tabata teased that he and Square Enix likely have plans on having "Final Fantasy XV" on the PS4 Neo and Xbox Scorpio, however, the chances of having the sequel in the Nintendo NX is somewhat slim and the PC version is still under consideration by Square Enix.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
