As the air date for the finale season of "The Vampire Diaries" draws near, details for the TV series are being revealed little by little. Recently, the titles for its first three episodes were uncovered. The title of the opening episode may suggest that Damon will be returning to his old evil self.
TVD may be taking their viewers down the memory lane as it has been reported that all episode titles of the season finale will be derived from lines in the first season, Melty reported.
Episode 1, which will be titled as "Hello, Brother," may somehow bring nostalgia to fans and viewers. It can be recalled that the upcoming episode's title was Damon's line during the TV series' pilot episode. The character uttered those words when he returned to Mystic Falls, the report added.
The report also suggested Damon may be back with his old self as it can be remembered he started as a character with a negative personality during the first few episodes of "The Vampire Diaries."
The title for the second episode was adapted from Elena's words when she was trying to cope with the death of her parents. Episode 2 will be titled, "Today Will Be Different," the exact words Nina Dobrev's character wrote in a diary during one of the pilot season's episodes.
"You Decided That I Was Worth It" will be the third episode's title. Now that Bonnie, Stefan and Caroline will be struggling to save Damon and Enzo who disappeared from the vault in the last season, the episode title may be related to the situation the two characters are currently faced with.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that the series will be refraining from using magic, TV Line reported. It can be recalled last season that Bonnie's power disappeared. This may be leading to lesser and fewer magic for season 8.
"The Vampire Diaries" was produced by Julie Plec and started airing last 2008. The TV series will be ending its run as it airs its last season starting this year.
