'WWE 2K17' update: Sequel to feature 136 WWE Superstars, Alternate versions; Booker T, Kevin Nash, Edge, Christian, Asuka, Bayley added to the roster [VIDEO]

WWE 2K17 is is an upcoming wrestling game developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts and will be published by 2K Sports for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 , Xbox One and PC.

The latest details for "WWE 2K17" will feature new WWE Superstars added, alternate versions and the total of wrestlers in the game.

It seems that 2K Games upcoming wrestling video game, "WWE 2K17" has revealed that the sequel will have 136 WWE Superstars. It was previously rumored that "WWE 2K17's" roster could reach at 150 WWE Superstars; however, 2K Games community manager Bryan Vore stated on a post from the game's official forum website that the 150 number of WWE Supertars was part of an early development coding on their interactive map and is not representative of the final roster list. 

Vore ensured that "WWE 2K17's" roster will be the largest to date and 2K Games encourage gaming and WWE fans to updated on the latest features and added wrestlers in the sequel, whether current, NXT or WWE Legends. Vore tweeted that there will be alternate versions of current WWE Superstars in "WWe 2K17.

Wresling fans might be expecting old school versions of The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, Mick Foley etc in the game.

In fact, WWE and 2K Games streamed a new trailer for "WW 2K17" revealing the whole entire roster in the game from current Superstars , NXT Superstars and WWE Legends.

Legends such as Kevin Nash, Booker T, Edge and Christian, Typhoon and Earthquake of the Natural Disasters, Road Dogg and Billu Gunn of the New Age Outlaws, Alundra Blayze, Big Boss Man, Ultimate Warrior, "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Vader, Lex Luger, Razor Ramon etc.

Asuka and Bayley added to the roster representing the NXT brand and its women's division. "WWE 2K17" will also feature DLC wresters like Shinsuke Nakamura, Apollo Crew, Nia Jax and Goldberg, Gameradar reported.

"WWE 2K17" will have new game features such as "Fighting in the Crowd and Backstage Brawls" were in players can now fight beyond the wrestling through the WWE Universe and in back stage inside the building.

A new taunting system were in WWE Superstar can taunt his/her opponent giving him/her extra boost of increase damage and a partial momentum boost. Gamers can now rest outside the ring in "WWE 2K17" to regain their stamina. This feature will automatically happen if the WWE Superstar takes a big hit from his/her opponent. Once recovered, gamers are given the option to comeback to the ring or stay. It is very helpful against multiple participants in the ring such as triple threat, fatal four way or six pack challenge.

Lastly, "WWE 2K17" introduces a new "Promo Engine" in MyCareer that will have wrestlers calling out or responding to other “WWE Superstars,” while backstage brawl gameplay adds to the atmosphere.

"WWE 2K17" is scheduled for release on Oct. 11 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
