'Persona 5' update: Atlus announce pre-launch, live stream gameplay details at TGS 2016; New trailers showcase gym, Futaba Sakura [VIDEOS]

Persona 5 is an upcoming JRPG being developed by Atlus of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console

The latest details for "Persona 5" will feature schedules at Tokyo Game Show 2016 and trailers of the gym gameplay and Futaba Sakura's introduction.

Atlus will be attending this year's Tokyo Game Show event as they have announced their schedules for activities for the event, revealing and showcasing more game details on "Persona 5".

First on their schedule will be a 5,555 Seconds Before Launch Live Stream on Sept 14. featuring Caroline and Justine (voiced by Aki Toyosaki), Goro Akechi (voiced by Soichiro Hoshi), Noriko Shouji, and others. The second event will be a two-day broadcast to the floor of TGS 2016 celebrating the launch of "Persona 5". It will start on 9:30 on Sept.17 to 17:00 on Sept. 18, with the cast ad crew behind "Persona 5", Gematsu reported.

In other news, two new game trailers for "Persona 5" have been streamed and it features a new gym gameplay activity and the introduction of the Phantom Thieves resident hacker Futaba Sakura.

The gym gameplay will feature the Protagonist training his body by practicing martial arts which will increase his status when fighting shadows. Past trailers of "Persona 5" featured the Protagonist visiting other places in Japan such as Maid Cafes and public bath houses.

The next trailer will feature Futaba Sakura, who might be awkward at times, but comes with top-notch hacking skills. Her code name is Navi and she was introduced to "Persona 5" during the E3 2016 event along with Makoto Niishima and Haru Okumura, Siliconera reported.

Futuba Sakura is a first-year student with superhuman computational and ingenious programming skills. Although a genius, she lacks skills in communicating and talking to her peers and became a shut-in to other people due to a certain incident. Her Persona is called Necronimicon.

Previous reports revealed that gamers should at least 20 GB of hard drive memory from PlayStation 4 in order to play "Persona 5" via disc, while the PlayStation 3 will have at least 4.6 GB of HDD. In addition, the sequel could reach atleast 720p of resolution.

Gamers will also have the ability to recruit shadows as Persona's depending in the dialogue that they must say in any given situation just to win them to the Protagonist' side.

"Persona 5" will launch on Sept. 15 in Japan and on Feb. 14 in North America for the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
