Kelly Clarkson finally revealed the reason why she and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, named their daughter River Rose. People reported that Clarkson and her hubby got their extraordinary thinking going in coming up with a name that stood out. The singer confessed to having used the river near the couple's Nashville home as an inspiration for coming up with a name for their first child. The middle name Rose the couple named their daughter of was borne out of the "American Idol" winner's mother's maiden name. Clarkson confessed her fondness with "alliteration."

River Rose has been the center of attention of her mother's new music. As everybody knew River was featured in Clarkson's teaser for her upcoming single, "Piece By Piece." The new single will hit stores on March 3.

Babycenter.com reported that the baby girl name River surged in popularity this year, as compared to 2014. The name peaked at 261 in 2015 from its 81st position last year.

The Stir revealed that River Rose revolutionized unique names for baby girls born within the past years. The website announced that River was a unisex name that stood out in flexibility. And, Rose, just sounded, well, feminine. Combined together River Rose sounded like a refreshing nature-friendly name for a baby girl out to see more of what's in store for her in this generation.
