iOS 10 and watchOS 3.0 are now available to the users. Owners of iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Watch will be able to see an automatic notification of the arrival of the update. Alternatively, users can also check for the updates manually.
iOS 10 Compatible Devices
The iOS can be installed on the following iDevices:
- iPhones: iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come preinstalled with iOS 10.
- iPad Pro: 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro models
- iPads: iPad Air 2, iPad Air, and 4h generation iPad
- iPad Mini: iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini 2
- iPod Touch: 6th generation iPod Touch
How to install iOS 10?
As mentioned above, users can install the iOS 10 update when they see "new software update" notification on their devices. However, if the update notification does not show up, users can check for the arrival iOS 10 update manually by navigation to Settings app > General > Software Update menu.
Described as the biggest release of iOS ever, the iOS 10 weighs 1.1 GB in size. Some users have complained about issues like battery draining and slow performance after installing iOS 10 update.

How to install watchOS 3.0 on Apple Watch
In order to install watchOS 3.0, users are required to install iOS 10 first on their iDevice. Once done, users can place the Apple Watch on its magnetic charger, WCCF Tech reported.
On the iDevice, users need to open the Watch app and then go to General > Software Update. The watchOS 3.0 update will show up in few second. Next, users are required to tap on 'Download and install.' This will download the watchOS 3.0 on the iDevice.
Now, users need to tap on "Install Now" to begin watchOS 3.0 installation. It can take some time to complete the process as the installation will happen over Bluetooth connection between the Apple Watch and iDevice.
