'Tekken 7' for PC and PS4/Xbox One latest news and update: Gets new full HD 1080p; Screenshots showing the fighters revealed

'Tekken 7' coming to PC and PS4/Xbox One: "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" to feature new characters

"Tekken 7" has been updated by Bandai Namco to "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution," this follows a limited arcade release earlier this year in Japan. Among the expanded content is new stages, items, costumes and characters. "Tekken 7" updated version is now slated for a release on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in early 2017.

Following the much anticipation from fans, the publisher has released a bunch of brand new images that shows the new characters making it into that the updated game. During the 2016 Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco revealed more than a dozen updated "Tekken 7" full HD 1080p screenshots.

According to WCCFtech, the photos showed a number of new and veteran in-game crew that players will manage to control and fight with once the game is launched. Unfortunately, the company has kept a lot about the game under wraps; fans will have to do with only these images for now.

Various characters from the "Tekken 7" roster have been displayed in these new screenshots, including faces that players are already familiar with such as Heihachi and Kazumi. The main aim of this latest round of promotional media is to reveal the new fighters that players will be interacting with for the first time in the updated "Tekken 7."

Among the new characters ia Claudio Serafino, Lucky Chloe, gigas, Katarina Alves, Josie Rizal, Kazumi Mishima and Shaheen. Also Akuma, a well-known Street Fighter character, is showcased, she will be making his franchise appearance in "Tekken 7."

Fans will experience the epic conclusion of the Mishima clan and unravel the reasons behind each step of their ceaseless fight in "Tekken 7." The game which is powered by Unreal Engine 4 once released will bring stunning story-driven cinematic battles and intense duels to fight fans.

Along with new attack, the updated game features 32 characters of which 8 have never been met before. Steam already has official game page for "Tekken 7," but no minimum and recommended system specifications, pre-orders, a precise release date and pricing details yet.

"Tekken 7" is speculated to be available early 2017.
