New "Tekken 7" details will feature a rumored February 2017 release date for the PlayStation 4 and plans for paid DLC soon.
Game producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed several plans for "Tekken 7's" post-launch as he told Gamereactor that they will think about having paid DLC for the sequel. Harada explained that he personally thinks that fighting games should be released as a package and let the players enjoy for a unknown considerable amount of time. And if the gamers are done and want something new to the table, then Bandai Namco will release something new for the gaming fans to enjoy.
"Tekken Tag Tournament 2" enjoyed several amounts of free DLC for the gaming fans to enjoy, but with the market in demand for digital releases nowadays, Harada stated that people do not mind paying for it, as long as it is something exciting and new for them.
Harada added that the idea of paid DLC for "Tekken 7" is something that he and the game developers will have to think, plan and discuss thoroughly very soon.
