If reports are anything to go by, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be cheaper than Nexus 7 2016.

The software giant Google has not revealed any information about the Nexus 7 2016. However, according to reports, the device will come in two variants, Pixel XL and Pixel.

Speculations are making the rounds that the search giant will begin taking pre-orders in the United States the same day it is unveiled. Reports claim that the devices will be available for pre-orders from October 4 itself right after the launch.

Let's take a look at the specs of the two devices.

It is said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have a curved-edged display and will be made available in variants, 9.7-inch and 8-inch screens with 4K technology and AMOLED panel.

The Nexus 7 2016 is expected to have a 7-inch screen with AMOLED Quad display panel. The Google Nexus Pixel XL and Pixel will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will reportedly sport an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor. There will be an internal storage of 64GB and 32GB and a 4GB RAM. According to reports, one of the variants will have a Snapdragon 820 chipset.

On the other hand, the Nexus 7 2016 will have 64GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, according to a report from Digital Trends.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a 2MP selfie and an 8MP back camera. The Nexus 7 2016, on the other hand, will have a 13MP back camera with advanced functions.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, 5,870mAh battery for the 9.7-inch model,  4,000mAh battery for the 8-inch model and USB Type-C port are some of the other rumored features of the Samsung device. Several reports suggest that the device will be priced at $420.

Android 7.0 Nougat system, 5,100mAh battery and a USB Type-C port are some of the other rumored features of the Google device. According to a BGR report, Nexus Pixel XL will cost about $649.

Meanwhile, the search giant has begun giving Android 7.0 N updates to Android One devices particularly Cherry Mobile G1. With the Android 7.0 N update, Android One devices will be loaded with features such as improved battery saving options, all-new emoji and multi-window.
