'One Punch Man' Season 2 rumors: Saitama's true source of power explained; Blast possible indentity revealed?

One Punch Man is an anime TV series produced by Madhouse based from a Japanese webcomic created by One.

The latest details and possible spoilers for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature Saitama's true source of power and Blast's identity in the anime.

It seems that Saitama's true source of power could be exposed during the events of "One Punch Man" season 2 as one of the possible antagonist in the show, Amai Mask will be the one to discover the latters incredible abilities.

Amai Mask is one of the three possible villains in season 2 joining Garou and the returning Lord Boros. Amai Mask in the "One Punch Man" series, is the ranked one hero in the A-Class, and also works as an actor and singer. Amai Mask believes that heroes should be a perfect example to the public and if the heroes cannot protect them, they must strive to be stronger.

However, underneath his popularity lies a darker personality as he believes that "evil" should be exterminated quickly as he mercilessly killed the capture crew of the Dark Matter Thieves without giving it a second thought.

Amai Mask also mocked the rest of the S-Class heroes for their "failure" in saving City A and stated that the only reason he stayed as number one in the A-Class because he believes that those who are worthy of an S-class should get it and he will decides if the hero is worthy enough to earn the title. Amai Mask will have an interest in Saitama and will likely uncover the secret of his powers and use it on his own purposes in season 2.

There is also a speculation that Saitama could lose his powers in "One Punch Man" season 2 thus making him vulnerable to his enemies in the show, iTechPost reported.

In other news, new clues on the true identity of rank one S-Class Hero Blast has been revealed. He is considered the most powerful hero in the Hero Association, but is not seen during there meetings even if the world is in grave danger.

However, the "One Punch Man" web comic’s Chapter 106 teased what Blast may look like. Although the picture is vague, the chapter revealed that Blash saved Tatsumaki in the flashback. Tatsumaki stated to Saitama that Blast inspired her to be a hero and like Saitama, Blast does his hero work as a "hobby".

Several theories throughout internet, which are now nullified hinted that Blash does not exist or that Blast is actually Saitama when he had his hair. However, the next theory suggest that Blast could be related to Saitama, a possible family member like an older brother or his father.

Fubuki teased that Blast could be a powerful psychic entity and rules an army of robots. Lastly, Blast could be a normal human whos limiter has been removed similar to Saitama, Animeride reported. 

Previous reports stated that "One Punch Man" season 2 could happen after the season 1 English dub of the anime and its release date could depend on its success.

A high viewership for the English-dubbed season 1 is already a given and both the manga and the series have created a solid fan base all over the world. There have rumors that season 2 of "One Punch Man" will air on October this year, while other stated that it could be in the early months of 2017.

Manga creator Yusuke Murata confirmed that he and his team are at the first phase of the production and will likely meet the demands of anime fans very soon. Murata added that they are already updating the source materials for the anime, but there not details regarding what storyline will it be based on.

In addition, "One Punch Man" season 2 may feature more than 12 episodes than the previous season due to the manga series having nine volumes.

Anime fans will likely have to wait for more details on "One Punch Man" season 2 very soon.
