The latest details and possible spoilers for "Wolverine 3" will feature the first film footage preview soon and Mister Sinister will be X-23's creator.
The yet untitled "Wolverine 3" film will feature an old and seasoned Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) as it will be Jackman's last film playing the popular X-Men character. The film will based on Mark Miller and McNiven's poupular comic book storyline, "Old Man Logan".
The film will feature Jackman's "X-Men" film co-star Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Xavier along with the inclusion of Laura Kinney/X-23, Wolverine's female clone and three villain groups; the Reavers, Hellfire Club and possibly the Essex Corporation.
"X-Men" film director Bryan Singer and screenwriter Simon Kinberg confirmed that Nathaniel Essex a.k.a. Mister Sinister will be the main villain of "Wolverine 3" during an audio commentary accompanying the recent digital release of "X-Men: Apocalypse", Cinemablend reported.
It revealed in the "X-Men: Apocalypse's" post-credits scene that scientist from the Essex Corporation have acquired the research and notes of the Weapon X program, including a sample of Wolverine's blood. With this in mind many speculated that Essex, particularly Mister Sinister could be responsible for cloning Wolverine and the creation of X-23, since the villain has been known for cloning mutants in the comics.
X-23 is under the name of "Zoe" in the casting description of the character as the studio is looking for a 12 to 15-year old girl and she is described as a child, but as wounder bada**, a pound puppy raised in captivity in a time of battle, without support systems of normal childhood.
"Zoe" will have an "authentic" intensity as her expression and body language speaks volumes and she is not very experienced in the outside world as anything is new to her. She lacks social skills and every new thing she encounters might scare, anger or even bore her. She eats like an animal, but with an high IQ, as she often studies and mimics other peoples movements. Lastly, Laura is tempermental, impulsive and feral in nature.
Twitter username GOAT Movie Pod cast tweeted several bts photos for "Wolverine 3" sees Logan traveling with an unnamed little girl as several fans speculated that X-23 has been already cast and that little girl could be her, but Fox has not made any comments regarding the leaked bts photos.
In other news, director James Mangold teased a possible first footage of "Wolverien 3" very soon as he tweeted an update stating that things will be "bubbling out" from under the lid very soon.
It is unknown yet if Mangold may refer to a teaser or a full theatrical trailer for "Wolverine 3", as comic book fans are still eager for Mangold's updates for the film very soon, Screenrant reported.
"Wolverine 3" will be release in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
