The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature a possible release date for the sequel, no cross-platform gameplay and PlayStation 4 Pro plans soon.
It seems that the possible release date for "Tekken 7" has been teased as Twitter username Wonkey tweeted revealed that details from his source.
According to the source, the launch date for the sequel will be on February 2017, but Bandai Namco has yet to make a statement regarding the validity of the information as gaming fans are still skeptical about information from Wonkey's source, WCCFTech reported.
Game producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed his plans for "Tekken 7's" post-launch as he teased that there will likely have DLC for the sequel. Harada explained that fighting games should be released as a package and let the players enjoy for a unknown considerable amount of time. And if the gamers are done and want something new to the table, then Bandai Namco will release something new for the gaming fans to enjoy.
Aside from the rumored release date, Harada announced that "Tekken 7" will not have a cross-platform gameplay feature for all gaming platforms as he explained that PC players will likely "cheat" there way into winning a match.
While it would be possible for "Tekken 7" to have cross-platform play for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, Harada and Bandai Namco will not likely want to take any chances, since the risk of hacking and data mining could jeopardize the sales for sequel, not to mention damaged the company's reputation, SegmentNext reported.
In other news, Bandai Namco game designer Michael Murray tease gaming fans of a possible PS4 Pro support for "Tekken 7" soon. Murray stated that he and the Japanese game developers that they are still "undecided" about it being ported to the new console, but assured to the fans that they will give an update about it.
When asked about the PlayStation VR feature, Murray stated that they are still exploring the mechanics of it for "Tekken 7".
Bandai Namco will be present at this year's E-Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) event on Oct. 28-30 at the SMX Convention Center , Mall of Asia Complex, Manila, Philippines.
"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
