'Thor: Ragnarok' rumors: Sam Neil to play an Elder of the Universe in the sequel; Hela to return in 'Avengers: Infinity War'!

Thor: Ragnarok is third installment of the Thor movies as part of Phase 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios

New details and possible spoilers for "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Sam Neil's possible role and Hela appearing in "Avengers: Infinity War".

It has been announced that "Jurassic Park" star Sam Neil will be joining the cast of "Thor: Ragnarok" alongside Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins etc. Although he will be working with director Taika Waititin the film, he was not willing to reveal the details of his character or what role will he be doing during the course of the film.

However, several fans theorized and speculated that Neil's character could be an Elder of the Universe in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after all his "Jurassic Park" co-star Jeff Goldblum will be playing the Collector, a powerful cosmic being and the person who imprisons Thor (Hemsworth) and forces him to fight the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in a gladiator arena.

The Grandmasters' brother, the Collector (Benecio del Toro) is also a member of the Elders and Ego (Kurt Russell) is also included in the same class. Both characters are featured in "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies. Neil's character could be the following Elders such as the Runner, the Gardener, the Judicater, the Explorer or the Champion of the Universe, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

In other news, its seems that a returning character from "Thor: Ragnarok" will be joining Thanos' (Josh Brolin) to fight Earth's Mightiest Heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War".

According to LRM, the plot of "Avengers: Infinity War" will be based on the comic book storyline "Infinity Gauntlet" were in the Mad Titan Thanos wants to impress the Marvel universes' personification of Death, who happens to be a black hooded woman.

Thanos will gather all of the six Infinity Stones and destroy almost haft the universe just to bring the souls for Death and win her affection. It is hinted that Hela (Cate Blanchett), the Asgardian goddess of Hel will double as the personification of Death in the MCU, so that audiences will not be confused since the two entities are different in the comics.

Hela is the main villain in "Thor: Ragnarok" and will likely trigger the events on Asgard setting up the stage for the apocalyptic event. Thor is tasked to find an ancient weapon that could stop the cycle of Ragnarok from ever happening in Asgard, alongside Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson).

There are also hints that Thor along with Loki (Hiddleston) will be in New York searching for their father Odin Allfather (Anthony Hopkins), who has become a homeless person. In addition, several hints indicate that Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will have a cameo in the sequel.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
