'WWE 2K17 update: Latest DLC adds Eddie Guerrero, Sycho Sid, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, more; 2K Sports showcase 'Universe Mode' features!

WWE 2K17 is is an upcoming wrestling game developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts and will be published by 2K Sports for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 , Xbox One and PC.

The latest updates for "WWE 2K17" will feature new WWE Superstars and Legends in the latest DLC and details on the "Universe Mode".

2K Sports announced all of the DLC packs for "WWE 2K17" as each pack contained several game features such as move sets, attributes and unlockable WWE Superstars, NXT Superstars and Legends in the game, Gamespot reported.

The first of these is the "Accelerator", which allows players to unlocks all content in the virtual currency section (including WWE Superstars and Legends), but not DLC, and also gives players "control over ranking and attributes" for all characters. The Accelerator will cost around $5 when purchased.

Next is the "Future Stars" Pack, which will feature five up and coming WWE Superstars such as Austin Aries, Majo Rawley, "The Perfect 10" Tye Dillenger and the "The Club" tag team of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The DLC will cost around $9.

The "Hall of Fame" add-ons in "WWE 2K17" will feature some of the classic rivalries in the WWE such as Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Fabulous Freebirds from 1992's WCW Saturday Night event, Ivory vs. Jacqueline fight from SmackDown 2000, Big Boss Man vs. Big Show from Armageddon 1999 and many more. It will cost $10.

The "Legends Pack", which cost $9 will feature playable WWE Legends like Eddie Guerrero, Tatanka, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Sycho Sid and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake.

Lastly, the "New Moves" pack will include the Swingout Neckbreaker, Elbro Drop, TJP Clutch and Face Wash combo, and will cost $4.

Previos reports revealed that Goldberg will be a pre-order DLC in "WWE 2K17", as well as NXT Enhancement Pack which feature NXT Superstars Apollo Crew, Nia Jax and Shinsuke Nakamura.

In other news, 2K sports revealed new details on "Universe Mode" for "WWE 2K17" as latest features will include additional save slots as the developers noticed that gamers want to explore different scenarios within the game.

There is also a new match making booking structure which allows gamers to book any WWE Superstar in match on different shows or pay-per-views, whether it is RAW, Smackdown, WWE Main Event, NXT etc.

Cutting promos is also added in the "Universe Mode", which allows gamers to make certain promos for each WWE Superstar. There is also a brand split, which allows gamers to draft any Superstar they want.

Lastly, gamers can customize each WWE Superstar from appearances, how they hold a championship belt to having allies from certain WWE Superstars in order to make a tag team ot a stable, Forbes reported.

"WWE 2K17" is scheduled for release on Oct. 11 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
