Two stoppage time goals from head coach Eduardo Berizzo's side, courtesy of Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi and Danish winger Pione Sisto, gave the much-needed victory and three points to the visitors.

The Sky Blues are currently tied on points with Real Sociedad, Leganes, and Sporting Gijon in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Barcelona bounced back from a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the fifth round to demolish Sporting Gijon, 5-0, at the Estadio El Molinón last Saturday, as per Daily Mail Online.

Luis Suárez broke the game's deadlock at the 29th minute and was quickly followed by a goal from Rafinha just three minutes later to give the visitors an early 2-0 lead.

Rojiblancos team captain Alberto Lora was sent off at the 74th minute after being handed a second yellow card off an illegal tackle on Sergi Roberto.

Neymar took advantage of the 10-man Sporting squad and netted a brace at the 81st and 88th, sandwiching Arda Turan's goal at the 85th, to complete the five-goal haul of head coach Luis Enrique's team.

Barça played without team leader Lionel Messi, who is currently nursing a recurring groin injury. The five-time Ballon d'Or awardee is not expected to return until Oct. 19 when the La Liga giants face Manchester City in the Champions League.
