Powerhouse side Real Madrid CF (4-0-2, 14 points) is set to take on the challenge of middling team SD Eibar (3-2-1, 10 points) in a 2016-2017 La Liga season match on Oct. 2, Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Real Madrid is sitting on top of the current league table as they had been undefeated in the first six rounds of competitions. Two opponents were able to hold them to draws, however, but they have yet to surrender a match this term.

Meanwhile, Eibar blanked 10-man Real Sociedad, 2-0, at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium also last Saturday, as per ESPN.
An own goal by Txuriurdin midfielder Asier Illarramendi started the scoring at the 57th before Portuguese striker Bebe sealed the win at the 66th.
It was a bounce back win for Los Armeros after going on a two-game winless spell. They are at the eighth spot of the league table at the moment.
