A terminally ill fan of the South Korean girl band 2NE1 received happy news from one of the Kpop idol group's members. Park Bom wrote a supportive note after she learned of the said cancer-stricken fan's story.

Nat is a Malaysian woman who shared her struggles with cancer on social media. She also admitted to being a long-time fan of the Kpop idol group 2NE1 and her wish to see the South Korean band in person. Her story became viral after several 2NE1 followers, also known as Blackjacks, circulated her story to other fans. Nat's struggles eventually reached Ryubae, one of Park's friends.

In an Instagram post, Ryubae uploaded a photo of the 2NE1 group member writing a note addressed to Nat. She also shared a snapshot of the Kpop idol's completed note that conveyed Park's supportive message.

The 2NE1 singer stated that she was “really touched” by Nat’s story and that it made her reflect on her own life. Despite Nat’s terminally ill condition, Park still wished for Nat’s good health and wrote that she “can’t wait” to meet the said Malaysia fan soon.

The Malaysian Blackjack was ecstatic when she learned about Park’s response. After reposting a picture of Park’s written note on her Instagram account, Nat confessed that the singer’s actions left her speechless. The 2NE1 fanbase’s response to her story also touched the cancer-stricken fan as she conveyed her gratitude to fellow Blackjacks for their support.

In other news, Park also made several Korean fans happy when she gave out autographs and conversed with a few Blackjacks during her sister’s cello concert held in early June, All Kpop reported. Photos posted on the said news site showed Park signing autographs while seated among the show’s audience members.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk complimented 2NE1 for their accomplishments over the years. In an interview with Xports News, he described the now three-member band as one of the unique Kpop idol groups in the industry.

The said girl group’s strength lies in the band’s relatable and varied musical pieces, according to the YG Entertainment executive. Yang also highlighted how several of 2NE1’s songs have topped various charts and were sung by many fans across the world.
