The tvN drama "Let's Fight Ghost" featured the 2PM group member Taecyeon as a young man who is not afraid to fight ghosts. However, the singer's former co-star Kim So Hyun revealed that the Kpop idol is not as courageous as his character in the said series.
Recently, the South Korean actress visited Singapore to promote the tvN series "Let's Fight Ghost." In a press event held on Sept. 30, Friday, Kim talked about her role as a ghost in the said drama and her experience working alongside the 2PM singer.
When reporters asked how she or Taecyeon would react if they both encounter a ghost, Kim revealed that her former co-star would be the first to run away. The 2PM musician is terrified of anything supernatural or of ghostly apparitions, Today Online quoted Kim as saying.
The tvN drama may have also depicted the two Korean celebrities as a ghost fighting tandem, but in real life, Taecyeon may not be willing to fend off a ghost's attack. Given his fear of ghosts, the 2PM group member would not even dare to go inside a haunted house. Kim joked that she would be left to protect herself against supernatural beings in the said situation.
The 17-year-old actress also recounted the fight scenes that she had to film for the tvN series. Action sequences were a new experience for Kim whose previous acting projects involved drama series. For "Let's Fight Ghost," the young star was hoisted on wires and suspended a few feet off the ground to act out a flying kick move and other scenes.
The tvN drama also caught the attention of fans given Kim's on-screen chemistry with Taecyeon. However, an earlier interview with Donga revealed the young actress' initial apprehensions in acting alongside the 2PM singer who is 11 years older than her.
Given her child actress image, the "Who are You: School 2015" star revealed that she was worried about developing a good rapport with her co-star Taecyeon. Despite Kim's apprehensions, the two Korean celebrities effectively portrayed their respective roles in the tvN series and even displayed great teamwork together.
