'Ant-Man and the Wasp' plot details to cover Hope Van Dyne's origin story, solo film soon; Evangeline Lilly confirms return in 'Avengers 4' [VIDEO]

The latest details and possible spoilers for "Ant-Man and the Wasp" will feature the origin story of Hope Van Dyne's Wasp, a solo film and inclusion to the "Avengers 4" film.

It seems that the plot details for "Ant-Man and the Wasp" have been revealed as "The Hobbit" star Evangeline Lilly shared a few things on what is in store for Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and her character Hope Van Dyne in the sequel.

Lilly told Blastr that "Ant-Man and the Wasp" will be an "origin story" of the Wasp, particularly Hope Van Dyne as she dons her mother, Janet Pym's code name and will also get an upgraded suite based on the prototype that both her mother and father, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) have been working on before Janet's "death" in "Ant-Man".

Previous reports revealed that the plot of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" might involve Scott, Hope and Hank attempting to rescue Janet from the Quantum Realm, since Hank believes that there is still a chance that his wife is still alive.

Janet VanDyne was trapped in the Quantum Realm after stopping a Soviet missile before the events of the film which devastated Hank, but with Scott managing to survive his trip in the realm out of instinct, Hank might have a the means and determination to get her back.

"Anchorman" and "Step Brothers" director Adam McKay confirmed his return to "Ant-Man and the Wasp" and he along with Rudd will be helping each other writing the script for the sequel.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp" will have a different genre unlike the the first film and Peyton Reed be directing sequel and wants to have a different approach since "Ant-Man" was a bank heist styled film and wanted to surprise Marvel fans.

In other news, Lilly confirmed that she will be returning as the Wasp in "Avengers 4" film as she explained that she will not be joining "Avengers: Infinity War", Screenrant reported.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp" is scheduled to launch after the events of "Avengers: Infinity War" in the same year. The plot of "Infinity War" will be based on the "Infinity Gauntlet" storyline as Thanos (Josh Brolin) will be wiping out haft the universe for his affection to Death using all six Infinity Stones.

It is rumored that Hela, the Goddess of Hel (Cate Blanchett) will return to the film as MCU's version of Death after the events of "Thor: Ragnarok".

Fans speculated that Avengers final battled with Thanos, could take place on earth thus Wasp and the rest of Marvel heroes will likely unite to fight him in "Avengers 4".

"Ant-Man and the Wasp" will be in cinemas on July 6, 2018.
