"Kingdom Hearts 3' is an action-RPG developed by Square Enix for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature a PC version, episodic style release and possible Marvel and Star Wars characters in the sequel.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura offered an update for "Kingdom Hearts 3" development as he stated that the sequel is is coming along steadily and gaming fans will expect new Disney worlds, which gamers can run, jump, fly and explore with wider space and higher range of maneuverability, Gamingbolt reported.

Square Enix promised gaming fans that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be bigger and better in terms of gameplay and the Disney worlds offered within the game. Three Disney worlds have been announced from movies such as "Hercules", "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6".

Other Disney worlds being teased in "Kingdom Hearts 3" include "Frozen". "Wreck-it Ralph", "Brave", "Zootopia", "The Jungle Book", "Toy Story" and many more. Game co-director Tai Yasue also teased that Sora and company will meet characters from the Star Wars and Marvel franchises in "Kingdom Hearts 3", but it will take awhile for Square Enix to acquire the rights from Disney.

Multiple sources speculated that the cancellation of "Disney Infinity" could be the window for Square Enix to gain the licensed rights of Marvel and Star Wars and be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3" development.

In other news, there are rumors that "Kingdom Hearts 3" could be ported to the PC platform, but Square Enix has not not mention anything regarding a PC version of the sequel.

Considering Square Enix's recent focus on bringing previously console exclusive games to the PC, it is possible there might be a PC release for "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the future, SegmentNext reported.

Lastly, Square Enix plans to have an episodic style launch for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as Nomura state in an interview that there are plans for a episodic release due to the fact that the scale of the sequel's story will be huge and he is overwhelmed about it.

Although, Nomura admitted that he is afraid of an episodic release style as it might ruin the tempo of "Kingdom Hearts 3's" storyline. There is also an online multiplayer feature for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as he has been hinting clues from past interviews, though nothing concrete is being confirmed to date.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
