The latest details for "Fallout 4" will feature possible PS4 mods in the sequel and PlayStation 4 Pro support coming soon.
It looks like Bethesda confirmed that "Fallout 4" will be receiving the long awaited mods for the PlayStation 4 version as the company announced on its official website that they will begin working on them for both the sequel and "Skyrim".
In addition to the PS4 mods, "Fallout 4" will also have a 4K resolution support when the game is ported on Sony's updated PS4 console, the PlayStation 4 Pro.While these are confirmed to arrive, the mods will be coming first to "Skyrim" remastered edition, ITech Post reported.
Previous reports revealed that Bethesda vice president of PR and marketing Pete Hines tweeted that the PS4 mods will depend upon the results of the evaluation that both the company and Sony have conducted several months back.
Hines will be part of the PS4 evaluation for "Fallout 4", but he promised gaming fans that he will update them upon the results of the evaluation.
Bethesda was supposed to launch the PS4 mods for "Fallout 4" by the end of June, but it was delayed due to several in-game issues such as lack of sound file support and a storage limit capped at 900 MB. Bethesda stated that they and Sony are planning to increase the limit beyond 900 MB soon.
Now that Bethesda has confirmed that PS4 mods are coming to "Fallout 4" very soon, PS4 users will be glad to find out what these mods are. The said mods will let players either modify or create their own content through the utilization of "Fallout 4's" Creation Kit. However, uploading external assets will not be happening and they will be only able to use any assets that all arrive alongside the game.
Bethesda encourages players to create their own account on their website so they can browse and try the mods in the game. The company promised gaming fans the launch date of the PS4 mods and PS4 Pro support for "Fallout 4" as soon they are done with "Skyrim" remastered on Oct. 28.
"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platform.
