The Nike Plus edition of Apple Watch was showcased at the tech giant's September event this year, and will be available on October 28. The fitness smartwatch helpful for sprints, jogs, and marathons will have 38mm ($369) and 42mm ($399) case sizes like Apple's other Series 2 wrist wearables. They will include black and grey straps with green accents that can sometimes be seen.

Nike+ is designed for athletes. There are two sports-focused watch faces and Run Club running app included with the Apple Watch. The faces include Nike's font and Volt (Lime) color, with digital and analog versions.

Both watch faces' styles can be customized. Changes can include where the time appears, and instant access to the Run Club app.

Meanwhile, the smart watch's breathable strap helps to prevent sweaty wrists after a workout. The Nike Sport Band is built to increase air flow and reduce weight.

Other features of the Nike+ are also standard for Apple Watch Series 2, such as GPS for running/cycling tracking without an iPhone, according to Engadget. There is also better water resistance that allows people to wear the sports watch when doing swim workouts. A brighter display is easier to see in outdoor lighting.

Some branding is in the form of the Nike swoosh on the aluminum watch case and silicon watch strap. The casing options are silver and gray, while the band options include Black/Volt, Black/Gray, Silver/Volt, and Silver/White. Bigger display models have a $30 higher price tag.

Nike+ will hit the retail market just in time for Halloween. This will make it easier for parents to keep track of the start/stop times of their kids' trick-or-treating.

The Nike smartwatch is a superlative device for runners and people looking for a sporty smartwatch. However, other shoppers should probably consider different Apple Watch models.

Nike+ can be tested at some Apple Stores before the October 28 release, although there are still some question marks about the running app and Sport Bands.

In related news, Apple has a software fix in the case that the iPhone 7's home button does not work, according to The Verge. The smartphone displays a message on the screen when it detects there could be a problem.

This alert informs the smartwatch owner they can use an on-screen Home button. Apple might reportedly remove the Home button for next year's so-called "iPhone 8" that will celebrate the Apple smartphone's 10th anniversary.
