Apple Introduces Latest iPad

Apple Inc. is expected to unveil the upcoming member of the iPad Mini family March next year. Also, it was rumored that the iPad Mini 5 will be rebranded to 7.9 iPad Pro.

A lot of Apple iPad Mini's enthusiasts were confused to the name that the Cupertino-based company will call its upcoming handset. Some of them say that it would be the 7.9-inch iPad Pro but the others would tell that it will simply be called as iPad Pro Mini.

When it comes with the iPad Mini 5's specs and features, International Business Times reported that the new device from Apple will be armored with a7000-series aluminum chassis that will basically fit in for its slim design. It was also reported that a new, smaller battery will be incorporated to help with the iPad Mini 5's thinner design. But then, even though the iPad Mini 5's battery pack capacity will be lower compared to the iPad Mini 4, the actual performance of the tablet is expected to be the same.

Rumors also suggest that the iPad Mini 5 is also anticipated to be dust-resistant and waterproof. Processor wise, the upcoming member of the Apple iPad Mini will be engineered by an A10 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Also, there will be three internal memory options to be made available namely 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

In addition, there reports suggesting that Apple is also targeting professionals with the iPad Mini 5 as the company is planning to add a Smart Connector that can be hooked up to a keyboard panel. The Smart Connector is believed to go with the box. The new iPad Mini 5 might also sport the 3D Touch force-sensitive display technology, University Herald has learned.

As for the camera department, the iPad Mini 5 might be packed with an 8 MP primary camera along with a 1.2 MP secondary shooter. This handset might also be furnished with quad speakers just like the iPad Pro variants have. Price wise, the upcoming iPad Mini may be tagged between US$412 (AU$536) to US$750 (AU$976) depending on the model.
