It seems that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's marriage is not happening in the near future. Reports claimed "The Voice" coach does not want to rush into marriage because she does not think she is wife material.
Cyrus and Hemsworth were previously engaged, but called it quits in September 2013. In early 2016, rumors started swirling that they are back together due to the reappearance of the engagement ring on the 23-year-old singer.
The two never publicly confirmed their engagement and have kept on keeping mum about their real relationship status. Just recently, Cyrus finally confirmed that she and Hemsworth were, once again, engaged.
While many fans are ecstatic about it, Cyrus is reportedly not planning to settle down with Hemsworth anytime soon. A source recently told Australia's NW magazine, as cited by Mirror, that the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker is dropping all these hints that she is not wife material.
"[Miley]'s dropping all these hints that she's not marriage material, but [Liam]'s not catching on at all," the source said, adding that Cyrus' lack of commitment is what has Chris Hemsworth worried for his brother. "While Miley may love [Liam], if they don't get on the same page soon, it'll only end in heartbreak for him."
The shocking news comes days after Cyrus proudly showed off her engagement ring during her guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Oct. 27. Though the ring has some sentimental value, the singer admitted she sometimes does not wear it because "it is too bling."
"It's very weird, cause this is like real jewelry, and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy," Cyrus added. "And, they don't look that good together 'cause they kind of mix up."
Rumor has it that Cyrus' engagement ring cost around $100,000. It is a 3.5 carat cushion-cut diamond ring handmade in an 18-carat gold with a diamond floral design. Specifically, the singer wanted the ring in gold since it was distinctive and unique, E! News reported.
