Things are not going well for Demi Lovato. The 24-year-old singer recently became the target of an online backlash when she made an insensitive joke, referencing Donald Trump's history of sexual assault.
Lovato has come under fire for an insensitive tweet about the election night that she has since deleted. On Nov. 8, Tuesday, the "Body Say" singer tweeted, "Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and grab some p---y."
The said tweet was a joke in regards to Trump's lewd remarks to "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush in 2005 about how he would grab women "by the p---y," Fox News reported. However, the tweet was soon deleted after it garnered negative criticisms from fans, prompting Lovato to apologize and explain that she was just trying to make light of the election.
Lovato's fans, on the other hand, have defended the singer against criticism. Many believed the "Made in the USA" singer do not have to apologize since she had a right to mock the presidential election.
In other news, the "Camp Rock" actress and UFC fighter Luke Skyler Rockhold, who have been seen enjoying each other's company for quite a while, are reportedly dating. The two first crossed paths while training at the Unbreakable Performance Center in Los Angeles.
"Demi is hanging out with Luke," a source told E! News. "It's pretty new and fun at this point. She likes being around him. She thinks Luke is a cool dude and he makes her smile. She is the kind of girl that takes day by day and just lives in the moment."
Adding fuel to the fire, Lovato and Rockhold were spotted attending the Los Angeles Rams game against the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 6, Sunday. After the match, the supposed new lovebirds were reportedly seen grabbing a sushi dinner.
Prior to Rockhold, Lovato was linked to John Mayer, 39. The two made noise on the web in October, after they were photographed getting cozy in West Hollywood.
