Consumers are not sure how Super Mario Maker game works now and whether Wii U's library can be accessed. This development has come up after it was announced that Nintendo 3DS has platformed Super Mario Maker. Nintendo also released the port.

Last week, Nintendo uploaded a regular overview video for Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS in Japan. Recently, Nintendo Europe and Nintendo of America uploaded own overview trailer in English. The European trailer is slightly different from Japanese trailer. However, it contains the same information.

With nearly five minutes of footage, the new video trailer from Nintendo goes over Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS' features. Making own levels and sharing with friends locally through wireless is allowed at this point. Online sharing is not allowed. In fact, there are no 3DS-made levels available online. However, full Wii U-made level catalog is online. Nearly a 100 of Nintendo's pre-made levels are also included.

In an article published by Gematsu, it is stated that Wii U game assures a "near-infinite number" of side-scrolling 2D Mario courses  and with this, players will be able to earn in-game medals in 100 built-in courses and also access recommended courses from Super Mario Maker for Wii U. Additionally, designing courses and sharing with other players via StreetPass and local wireless is also allowed.

Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS will be launched on Dec. 1 in Japan,  and Dec. 2 in North America and Europe. Another article published at Techno Buffalo, it states that Super Mario Maker will have a better performance with Wii U version. However, Wii U version does not have what the 3DS version has and it is still a larger install base.

At the most recent count, there are 13.35 million Wii Us in consumer possession. When this is compared, 61.57 million Nintendo 3DS systems are already existing. Super Mario Maker is set to launch to a much bigger audience on December 2, 2016.

Now, Super Mario Maker 3DS is available for pre-load in North American eshop. In order to pre-load the game on 3DS, 2,921 blocks of free or 365.125MB is required. Once it is pre-loaded and when the game releases, it is suggested to refer a quick update to start playing.
