Jin Goo, Lee Yo Won and UEE lead new MBC drama series "Night Light".

South Korean actor Jin Goo will star in new MBC drama series "Night Light" along with Lee Yo Won and UEE. In a press conference last Nov. 17, he explained how his role in his new drama is different from his breakthrough role as Sergeant Seo Dae Yeong in "Descendants of the Sun".

Jin Goo will play lead character Park Gun Woo, a son of Moon Jin Group's CEO, in "Night Light".

In an article by All Kpop, he revealed that he did not have a hard time playing both his past and present characters as Seo Dae Yeong and Park Gun Woo since these roles are very much like him. Jin Goo went on to explain the differences between these characters.

"Park Gun Woo looks people in the eyes more than Sergeant Seo when communicating, and he also knows how to cling to women a bit more. I think that's their differences," he explained in a press conference for his new drama "Night Light" last Nov. 17.

MBC's new drama series include Leo Yo Won as the female lead Seo Yi-Kyung and UEE as Lee Se Jin, who is Lee Yo Won's right hand in the drama. They are also joined by Jung Hae In, Jun Kuk Hwan, Jung Han Yong, Lee Jae Yong, and more, according to All Kpop.

Lead stars Jin Goo and Lee Yo Won hope for the audience to appreciate the teamwork and hard work the cast and production staff have put into their new drama "Night Light".

In their first script reading last Oct. 21, Lee Yo Won said, "I hope to reach out to viewers with a good piece, and feel that this will be a meaningful production for me as well. Please look forward to it."

Jin Goo added, "I get the feeling that an excellent piece will result from a fun and energetic environment... I will do my best to create the production of a lifetime, with the help of the viewers."

The new MBC drama series will be about power, money and greed, Yonhap News revealed.

It will be about the cold and ambitious Seo Yi-Kyung who desires power and wealth. An only child of a Korean-Japanese mogul, she has been groomed to take over the family business. After a crisis, she moved to South Korea where she met her ex-boyfriend and chaebol heir Park Gun Woo (Jin Goo) and poor yet daring woman Lee Se-jin (Uee).

"Night Light" is scheduled to air on MBC every Mondays and Tuesdays starting Nov. 21.
