Chinese fans of the "Fantastic Beasts" will have a magical beast of their own in the future sequel of the film.

Giddy-up Chinese fans, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" director David Yates recently teased that a future installment of the film will feature a magical beast of your own.

A promotional show in Beijing on Friday elicited excitement among fans of the most recent J.K. Rowling novel-turned-motion-picture after Yates revealed the news in front of a Chinese audience.

Lead actor and Academy award-winner Eddie Redmayne further boosted the hype as he teased the director about filming parts of the future films in Beijing. The suggestion prompted fans to applaud and cheer.

Along with Yates and Redmayne, producer David Heyman, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol came to Beijing to promote the film. Chinese artists also made paintings of magical Chinese creatures as gifts to the director, producer and member of the cast present during the event.

"Fantastic Beasts" is a spin-off story of the famous "Harry Potter" franchise. A prequel of sorts, the story is aligned with the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Yates also directed the last four installments of the movie franchise: "The Order of the Phoenix," "The Half-Blood Prince" and the two-part "Deathly Hallows" series.

Reports have also surfaced that actor Johnny Depp will co-star in the second installment of "Fantastic Beasts," which will be expanded to a five-part series from the original trilogy announcement.

"Fantastic Beasts" has gained generally positive reviews from film critics and Harry Potter fans alike. The film is set to debut in Chinese theaters on Nov. 25.
