Lee Joon-Gi, Ji Chang-Wook, 2PM's Taecyeon, EXO's Kai, Choi Ji-Woo and Lee Cho-Hee attended the "7th First Kiss" press conference on Nov. 22, Tuesday. There, the Hallyu stars revealed their roles in the upcoming web drama.
Produced by the Lotte Duty-Free Shop, "7th First Kiss" follows a woman, Min Soo-Jin (Choi-Hee), who never had a boyfriend since birth. She then meets a goddess (Choi) who gives her the chance to meet seven handsome guys: Joon-Gi, Ji, Taecyeon, Kai, Lee Jong-Suk, Park Hae-Jin and Lee Min Ho.
Out of the seven male actors, only Ji, Joon-Gi, Kai and Taecyeon attended the production press conference at Lotte Cinema in Jamshil, Seoul on Nov. 22, Tuesday, Naver reported. Speaking before a predominantly Korean crowd, Kai introduced his character, stating he would play Min Soo-Jin's younger male friend who used to get Chinese tutoring.
Ji, who recently portrayed a former mercenary soldier in tvN's "The K2," will once again transform into a skilled secret agent. Joon-Gi, who is known for his roles in several popular historical dramas, will play a church oppa from Min Soo-Jin's younger days.
"I played a church oppa from Choi Hee's younger days," All Kpop quoted Joon-Gi as saying. "Previously, I was in a historical drama so I'm happy to show my romantic act, even though it's short."
Taecyeon, who recently played Park Bong-Pal in tvN's "Hey Ghost, Let's Fight," plays the son of a Chaebol. He revealed his character is willing to sacrifice everything for love, stressing that it is the kind of role that he has always wanted to try.
Park and Jong-Suk, who failed to attend the press conference, introduced their respective characters through a recorded video. The former revealed he would transform into a romantic co-worker, while the latter will play a top Hallyu star. There is no word yet about Min-Ho's role in the upcoming web drama.
