"SNL Korea" is at the center of a sexual assault controversy after a video emerged online showing some of the female comedians behaving inappropriately with guest hosts. Fans of Kpop groups B1A4 and INFINITE were in for a shock when they saw the comedians groping and molesting members of both boy bands in the footage.

It all started when some behind-the-scenes footage from "Saturday Night Live Korea" surfaced on social media. The video kicked off with a brief intro with one of the comedians announcing that B1A4 will finally be able to guest host the show after Jinyoung wrapped up his latest project.

However, the video shocked viewers when the female comedians were being introduced to the members of the band. Instead of shaking their hands, the women grabbed the genitals of the B1A4 members as they looked on in astonishment before laughing it off as a joke.

Shortly after the video emerged, another clip of similar nature was leaked online. However, this time it was members of INFINITE who were being touched inappropriately by the comedians.

It was later revealed that B1A4 and INFINITE members were not the only ones who were sexually assaulted. All male celebrities that come as guests on the show have to face this shocking treatment, Soompi reported.

"SNL Korea" tried to shrug it off as a tradition or type of "ceremony" on the show. However, angry netizens are blasting the television program on social media using the hashtag "SNL sexual harassment."

Netizens are pointing out that what the female comedians are doing is nothing short of sexual assault and if a male comedian were to grope a female celebrity between the legs, he would probably be jailed. In the wake of the outrage, "SNL Korea" issued an apology to B1A4 and their fans for the inappropriate actions of the comedians.

"We apologize to the B1A4 members and their fans about the violent actions against the hosts B1A4 in the video," the show said in a statement obtained by All KPop. "It was an unfitting action toward the hosts, and we will be careful that this does not happen again."
