Working on a drama project can be quite stressful although "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" cast member Jinyoung recently revealed some of the light moments while filming the said KBS drama. The B1A4 group member also shared his thoughts on working alongside the drama's male lead star Park Bo Gum.
The South Korean singer opened up about the working atmosphere on the set of the KBS historical series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds." Jinyoung shared in an interview with InStyle magazine, as cited by Soompi, how he and his co-star Park would have an enjoyable time working together. Despite the hardships of shooting a period drama, filming activities became more fun when spent with the "Reply 1988" actor.
Most of the KBS drama's filming activities were shot during Korea's hot summer weather. The cast members have had to deal with the warm weather conditions in their traditional Korean attires. Some scenes in the drama also required a few action sequences, apart from the emotional and suspenseful moments.
Jinyoung recounted how the drama's cast members would "sympathize" with one another during difficult filming days. It also helped that many of the actors in the KBS drama are close in age with each other that made communication fairly easy. The B1A4 vocalist even commented on wanting to take extra care of Park on-set.
The two actors portray rivals in the KBS historical drama. Park plays the Crown Prince Yeong while Jinyoung portrays the scholar Yoon Sung. Both the crown prince and Yoon Sung fell in love with Kim Yoo Jung's Ra On, one of the crown prince's eunuchs who is actually a young woman in disguise.
The B1A4 group member mentioned that his character had no interest in girls and romantic relationships in the earlier episodes of the KBS series. However, Yoon Sung changed when he met Ra On and fell in love with her.
