The latest details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature the Baker Family fighst in new gameplay videos and the sequel's PC settings.
Capcom announced that they are updating prospective PC users with a full list of settings for "Resident Evil 7" for them customize when they get the game next year. Graphics options are always important to PC gamers and more so than ever. A look at "Resident Evil 7's" PC graphics options can show just how much effort went into putting it onto the PC platform, and less options typically implies a sloppy ported game. With recent poor PC ports like "Batman: Arkham Knight" and other major titles, PC gamers are more wary than ever.
The PC settings for "Resident Evil 7" includes the standard setting options like texture quality, anti-aliasing, and ambient occlusion, but others like v-sync, field of view, dynamic shadows, and motion blur are included as well.
Other options for the PC settings are Volumetric Lighting Quality, Color Space (SRGB/BT.709), Chromatic Aberration Toggle, Subsurface Scattering Toggle, Bloom Effect Toggle and Lens Flare Toggle. PC users are free use whatever settings they like as long as they are able to play "Resident Evil 7" smoothly when its launches on January 2017, Gamerant reported.
In other news, Capcom has launched three gameplay videos of "Resident Evil 7" which will have player's as Ethan Winters fighting the sequel's main antagonists, the Baker Family,VG 24/7 reported.
The first gameplay sees Ethan trying to defend himself against Jack Baker as he chases Ethan around the house and trie to kll him using a shovel or an axe. Jack proved to be a formidable foe as bullets and setting on fire did not kill him.
Next gameplay will have Ethan explore the whole mansion were he meets Aunt Rhody. Ethan eventually ends up exploring the basement, but was met with the new monsters known as the Molded. Ethan the explored what appears to be a dungeon of some sorts as Jack suddenly appears and attacks him again.
The last gameplay trailer will have Ethan exploring the wrecked Baker Family house and a swamp area. Jack's wife Marguerite Baker is lurking the area holding a lamp. As Ethan tries to escape Marguerite finds him and pushes him back telling Ethan to "stay outta here" referring to the door behind her.
"Resident Evil 7" will launch on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PS4, PS VR, Xbox One and PC platforms.
