PC users were adamant about having "Final Fantasy XV" for the PC going to the point that they made online petition for Square Enix to think and reconsider several years back due to being focused on the console versions.
Meanwhile, Tabata posted a message on Square Enix's official blog website stating that "Final Fantasy XV" will undergo some changes in its next patch update.
Tabata admitted that there are some issues with "Final Fantasy XV's" story, and hopes that the upcoming fixes will make it more clear and enjoyable for players. Tabata pointed Chapter 13 as an example as the chapter itself was the pivotal point in the game.
This is where the gameplay changes from open-world to a more linear direction, with stealth becoming the primary mechanic. Unfortunately, many players did not like changes which has been the source of frustration for them since it limits the characters abilites.
Tabata added that the new patch will have improvements on certain cutscenes and include a new one that will make the plot clearer.
Lastly, Square Enix to have certain key characters as possible playable ones, even considering the possibility of customizable avatars, in addition to other features over time.
The developers are currently discussing the addition of a New Game +, adding new items to encourage different play styles, and more.
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
