Moviegoers who were instantly turned into a fan after watching "Deadpool" may not see the antihero back on the big screen anytime soon as it seems that the production for the film's sequel will be bogged down indefinitely.

News of such became rife as it is reported that its director, Tim Miller, left the franchise which is one massive blow to the fate of the sequel. Deadline mentioned that Deadpool star himself, Ryan Reynolds may have other things in mind with the film's second installment that the director might have thought will not work in the next installment. Hence, instead of having beef with the actor who happens to be one of the producers of the movie, Miller just made a graceful exit from the project. As of late the director is said to be devising a script for a separate project for Fox that is believed to be shelled out in 2018.

Meanwhile, Comic Book noted that even the film's music producer that goes by the name Junkie XL (Tom Holkenborg) also begged off from the sequel after learning that Miller abandoned ship. The Dutch musician then expressed his thoughts on his Twitter page about such development in the 'Deadpool" sequel. He explained that he did some soul searching and came to a decision where he had to leave the  project as he went on stating that Miller created a huge impact in the film that without him taking lead would be pointless for him to continue as well.

"Deadpool" was pretty much a runaway success that was produced with a budget of less than $60 million and eventually raking in over $700 million at the box office pinning a couple of feathers on its hat for being the top grossing film for both "X-Men" and R-rated categories.
