The midseason finale for "The Flash" season 3 ended with the revelation that one member of Team Flash will be murdered by the villain Savitar. In order to prevent this Barry aka the Flash (Grant Gustin) is going to need help and it is now confirmed he will be bringing in another Justice League alumni: Gypsy.

During the recent CW Fan Fest, actor Carlos Valdes confirmed that Cynthia "Cindy" Reynolds aka Gypsy would be introduced sometime in the latter half of "The Flash" Season 3.

"There's going to be a new visitor to our world named Gypsy," Valdes stated. "DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She is going to be coming in our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her. So I'm excited to see how that plays out."

In the original comic books, Gypsy was both a member of the Justice League Task Force, Justice League Detroit and the Birds of Prey, Heroic Hollywood reported. She is noted as a meta-human capable of creating illusions and can blend into her backgrounds to turn completely invisible.

The terminology Valdes uses also suggests that Gypsy is not going to be from Earth-1. "The Flash" previously established the Multiple Earths and even brought in villains and heroes alike from Earth-2, Earth-3 and more.

According to a report from Cinema Blend, both Gypsy and Cisco aka Vibe (Carlos Valdes) have precognitive powers and can project themselves out of their bodies. Gypsy's is speculated to be brought in to help Cisco vibe into the future and stop Savitar.

Gypsy may become a member of the Birds of Prey if The CW network decides to move forward with a series. The multiple CW superhero shows have already established Birds of Prey candidates such as Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Overwatch (Emily Bett Rickards), and the heroine Oracle was also teased.

"The Flash" Season 3 continues in 2017.
