Tottenham lost two of their last three games to remain in the fifth spot of the English top flight table, three points behind fourth-running squad Manchester City and the final Champions League qualifying berth for next season.

In their most recent match on Sunday, the Spurs were nipped by fellow contending club Manchester United, 0-1, on the road at the Old Trafford to suffer only their second loss this season, as per Sports Mole.

Armenian forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan netted the lone goal of the match in the 29th minute off an assist by midfielder Ander Herrera.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino's side was not able to respond with any goals in the contest as the Red Devils' defense was in full throttle throughout the match.

Meanwhile, Hull City had settled to a 3-3 draw with fellow struggling team Crystal Palace at their home ground of KCOM Stadium last Saturday, SkySports reported.

Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring for head coach Mike Phelan's side with a penalty kick in the 27th minute as the Tigers reached the halftime break with a 1-0 advantage.

The Eagles leveled the count seven minutes into the second half with Christian Benteke's own successful spot kick. Palace midfielder Wilfried Zaha then took the lead with a goal in the 70th, but it was equalized by Norwegian striker Adama Diomande just two minutes later.

Hull City was able to grab the lead again in the 78th with a goal by midfielder Jake Livermore, but the visitors salvaged the draw as they found the final equalizer one minute before full-time.

With the draw, Hull City extended their winless slide to four games as the team is still settled in the bottom three relegation zone.
