Rising team Crystal Palace FC (4-8-3, 15 points) will try to extend their two-game unbeaten run to three games as they take on the challenge of struggling contenders Manchester United (6-3-6, 24 points) on Dec. 14, Wednesday in a 2016-2017 Premier League season encounter at the Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace has been unbeaten in two straight games this month after going on a six-game losing slide. The team is currently settled in the 15th spot in the overall standings after drifting near the bottom three relegation area for the first several rounds of the new season.
The Eagles were able to escape with a 3-3 draw versus newly-promoted side Hull City on the road last Saturday at the KCOM Stadium, as per SkySports.
Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass opened the game's scoring with a penalty kick in the 27th minute to give the hosts a one-point advantage at the break.
Palace striker Christian Benteke was able to level the count in the 52nd with his own spot kick before teammate Wilfried Zaha gave head coach Alan Pardew's side the lead with a goal in the 70th.
However, the Tigers were able to score two straight goals, courtesy of Adama Diomande and Jake Livermore in the 72nd and 78th minutes, to take back the lead.
Substitute striker Frazier Campbell netted the equalizer in the 89th minute to salvage the draw for Palace.
Meanwhile, Manchester United finally won after three consecutive drawn matches as the team nipped Tottenham Hotspur, 1-0, at the Old Trafford on Sunday, Sports Mole reported.
Algerian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the winning goal of the match in the 29th minute as the Red Devils were able to hold the Spurs scoreless throughout the match.
Even with the win, United remained in the sixth spot of the league table, three points behind Tottenham and the Europa League qualifying berth for next season.
