West Ham United has not won a Premier League game since their 1-0 win over Sunderland in October. The team is currently on a six-game winless slide and has settled in the 17th spot of the 20-team English top flight table, just a point above the bottom three relegation area.
The Hammers are actually coming off an impressive 2-2 draw with contending squad Liverpool on the road at the Anfield on Sunday, as per Yahoo Sports.
Liverpool drew first blood in the contest as Adam Lallana opened the scoring right in the fifth minute with a clever volleying goal that escaped the gloves of West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph.
Head coach Slaven Bilić's side then netted the next two goals to grab the lead away from the Reds with a 27th-minute equalizer from French striker Dimitri Payet before midfielder Michail Antonio put the visitors ahead in the 39th.
The Reds were able to force the tie, though, with a 48th-minute goal by Divock Origi to share a point in the standings.
Meanwhile, Burnley nipped Bournemouth, 3-2, in a high-scoring affair at the Turf Moor last Saturday, BBC Sport reported.
The Clarets netted the first two goals of the game in the 13th and 16th minutes from midfielder Jeff Hendrick and defender Stephen Ward.
Bournemouth was able to put themselves on the board before the break with a goal from forward Benik Afobe two minutes into the first half stoppage time.
Scottish midfielder George Boyd made it a 3-1 count in the 75th before the Cherries scored a consolation in injury time courtesy of defender Charlie Daniels.
