Samsung has officially unveiled the 2017 Galaxy A smartphones- the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7.
The Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones have been in rumors since several weeks. These smartphones have been made official through its global press site, GSM Arena reported.

- All the three Galaxy A (2017) smartphones come with IP68 certified chassis that protects it from damage from dust and water.
- The three smartphones sport premium appeal as they feature metallic frame and their rear are flanked with 3D glass. Each of them sport a slim profile of 7.9 mm.
- The three smartphones are enabled with USB Type-C ports.
- The 2017 editions of A3, A5 and A7 feature fingerprint readers under their Home buttons.
- Like recent flagships from Samsung, the new Galaxy A (2017) smartphones come with Always-On Display feature.
- The three phones come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung Pay support.
- Black Sky, Blue Mist, Peach Cloud and Gold Sand are the four color variants of the three smartphones.
Galaxy A7 (2017)
The Galaxy A7 (2017) has a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. It features a 1.9 GHz Exynos octa-core processor under its hood. The CPU is coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Its native storage is of 32 GB and it carries support for microSD card.
The rear and front sides of the smartphone is enabled with 16-megapixel f/1.9 aperture lenses. It is packed with a 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging support.
Galaxy A5 (2017)
The Galaxy A5 (2017) has a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED screen. The Exynos 7880 SoC powers the device with its 1.9 GHz processor along with 3 GB of RAM. Like A7, it also features 32 GB native storage and microSD card support.
Yet again, it features 16-megapixel front and rear cameras, but these devices lack f/1.8 aperture lenses. It has a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
Galaxy A3 (2017)
The smallest handset in the pack 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen and is powered by 1.6 GHz octa-core CPU along with 2 GB of RAM.
Its storage is 16 GB along with microSD card expandable storage. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It features a 2,350 mAh battery with fast charging support.
These smartphones will be available in Russia from the beginning of this month and these devices will be coming soon in other markets. Previous rumors have suggested the Samsung Mobile Malaysia will be taking pre-orders starting from Jan. 6
Samsung is yet to announce the pricing of these devices, but leaked information suggests that 2017 editions of Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are expected to cost $344 and $378 and $424, respectively.
