The Xiaomi Mi 6 is now rumored to deliver monstrous performance as it reportedly scored 210,329 on AnTuTu. In addition to this, speculations indicate it will be a pricey device.

Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi 6 and several other flagships from 2017 are expected to powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to get unveiled next month through the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event. The arrival of the Mi 6 seems to be drawing near as it has been allegedly spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking platform.

Even though the benchmarking information has not surfaced from AnTuTu directly, a leaked screenshot of the benchmarking app suggests that the smartphone has allegedly scored 201,329 points, My Drivers reported.  Such a high powerful score can be only attained if a monstrous processor like Snapdragon 835 under its hood.

The Apple iPhone 7 Plus running on Apple A10 chipset managed to breach 180K mark by scoring 180,300 points. The Snapdragon 821 chipset driven OnePlus 3T has scored 163,000 points on AnTuTu, However, the Xiaomi Mi 6 has allegedly breached 200K mark quite easily with SD 835 chip on board.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset was officially announced earlier this week. The octa-core processor is expected to deliver 27 percent improvement in terms of performance and nearly 40 percent lesser power usage as compared to Snapdragon 821 and 820 chipsets that drive 2016 flagship.

Rumors have it that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be coming out with a costlier price tag. The reason behind it is the high cost of the internal components of Mi 6. Not only Xiaomi Mi 6's upcoming flagship but also other electronic devices in China are expected to cost more because of the high cost of materials.

Xiaomi's usually costs around 1999 Yuan ($299) for the base model. However, rumors have it that the Xiaomi Mi 6 may cost as high as 2,499 Yuan ($370) for its base model.

Rumors have it that Xiaomi Mi 6 will be the first smartphone to launch with Snapdragon 835 chipset onboard. Rumors have it that it will feature dual-edge curved, a dual camera setup, and Android based MIUI 9 OS, Gizmo China reported.
