"Dance Moms" alum Mackenzie Ziegler recently traveled to Australia with her older sister, Maddie, and mom, Melissa Gisoni.
While there, the 12-year-old former reality TV star shared a series of photos from her vacation. In one of the snaps, Ziegler is seen wearing a one-piece swimsuit while standing on the veranda. Her left hand is holding one of her braids and her right leg is spread open.
Immediately after posting the snap, a lot of fans and critics commented negatively on it and said that it looks like an inappropriate pose for a 12-year-old girl. However, there were also some fans who think that Ziegler did not mean any harm with the photo.
A day later, Ziegler proved that she was not affected by all of the negative comments that she received. She posted another photo of herself wearing the same swimsuit. But this time around, she is seen running on the sand and towards the beach. She captioned the photo, "Baywatch."
As expected, some fans once again commented that the photo was inappropriate, not because of Ziegler's pose, but because of the caption. "Baywatch" is an action drama series about a group of Los Angeles County Lifeguards who patrol the beaches of Los Angeles. The film was released between 1989 and 1990, and it featured some mature content that are not apt for young girls like Ziegler.
Meanwhile, since leaving "Dance Moms" mid-way through Season 6, Ziegler has already released a new song and music video for "Night and Day." The collaboration with young singer Johnny Orlando rose to the top of the iTunes chart just a few minutes after its launch.
As of late, Ziegler still does not have any television or movie projects. But she is still training in dance in Los Angeles and Pittsburgh.
