"Dance Moms" alum Mackenzie Ziegler is working on a new project with her good friend, Johnny Orlando.
On her Instagram account, the 12-year-old shared an adorable photo with Orlando, who was once rumored to be her boyfriend. Obviously, the two young artists are not together, but both are excited for what the future holds for them. According to their post, the big revelation will take place on Friday via Instagram.
"BIG announcement coming this Friday. @johnnyorlando I can't wait!" she captioned her photo. Orlando shared a similar post which he captioned, "Huge announcement coming this Friday. I don't think they're ready."
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Ziegler and Orlando collaborated on a project. Since both of them are singers, they previously worked on a song together. But in August, the duo posted a hilarious video on YouTube informing their fans that a new single is coming up. A series of photos from the recording studio were also shown in the short video. In one of their Snapchat posts, Ziegler and Orlando said that their project is "coming soon."
With this, it seems that Ziegler and Orlando are ready to reveal their new project to the world. This is one of the projects that Ziegler engaged in since leaving "Dance Moms." Unlike her older sister Maddie, Ziegler's projects haven't been as much. But according to the "Dance Moms" spoiler site, in June 24, the younger Ziegler decided to leave "Dance Moms" alongside Maddie to pursue other projects. This means that in the next couple of months, she will be making announcements about her work.
Orlando, on the other hand, rose to fame as a YouTube sensation with his older sister Darian. He's well-known for performing covers of some of hit songs by Austin Mahone, Justin Bieber and more.
