Disney and Marvel's third episode in the "Thor" film series to be monikered "Ragnarok" has grown to become one of the highly anticipated films for 2017. That said, Disney officially released the story plot of the said sequel and previous fan theories do fit in the bag that the film will feature a glimpse of the "Planet Hulk" saga.

From the looks of it, Marvel Studios is all revved up this 2017 as the usual whim of releasing a couple of superhero films has been upped to three. The Marvel-themed movies slated to be released are "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" on May 5, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" on July 7, and finally, "Thor: Ragnarok" that is set to be rolled out on Nov. 3, Independent has learned.

Per the newly released story plot of the upcoming film, the Norse thunder god will be incarcerated in a distant universe without the Mjolnir on his side. Making things even more complicated is the limited time that he has for him to return to Asgard to thwart the impending war known as "Ragnarok" to be instigated by the Asgardian goddess of death - Hela (Cate Blanchett), according to MovieWeb.

Aside from the gamma infused green giant, it was previously reported that Doctor Strange, (Benedict Cumberbatch) will also be making a guest appearance. It is believed that the Sorcerer Supreme will aid both Thor and Loki to return to Asgard to stop the godly skirmish.

Sometime last December, a spy shot of the film's poster made rounds online that showcased both Thor and Hulk donning a Roman-like gladiator armor. In addition, the former wields a double sword and a new set of armor as well.

Prior to such leak, Marvel Studios already boasted a replica of Hulk's armor at 2016's San Diego Comic-Con. The set is comprised of a headdress, a shoulder armor, a battle ax, and a warhammer that looks like a piston engine.
