'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom.

New details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature a digital film code for "Resident Evil: Retribution" and a demo of the "Resident Evil 2" remake.

Capcom announced that gaming fans who have pre-ordered "Resident Evil 7" will have a chance to gain a free digital film code for the upcoming and final "Resident Evil" movie, "Resident Evil: Retribution".

In addition, gaming fans will also receive the Survival Pack bonus for "Resident Evil 7", which will pony up four different load-outs for the title in the form of the Recovery Set, Handgun Set, Burner Set, and Chem Fluid Set.

Each pack contains items like the medicinal green healing herbs in the Recovery Set, and red boxes of ammunition in the Handgun Set. Furthermore, those who have already pre-ordered "Resident Evil 7" should not worry about missing out on these offers, as the movie and Survival Pack extras still apply to them.

However, those pre-order "Resident Evil 7" via PlayStation Network will be given a different deal. For instance, instead of getting "Resident Evil: Retribution" for free, they will receive a coupon code for 40 percent off from the PlayStation Store for the previous five "Resident Evil" movies in HD, which will be bundled together in the "Resident Evil Collection".

When retrieving the copy of "Resident Evil: Retribution" after pre-ordering the sequel at GameStop, a redemption code will be printed on the receipt when the game is picked up to download the digital copy of the movie. PS4 users will be able to obtain the film through the VUDU app, while Xbox users will get it through the Xbox Store, with the offer available in the United States through Feb. 6.

Digital pre-orders for "Resident Evil 7" will be a little bit different, for reserving the game through the Xbox Store will net one a code for "RE: Retribution" through Xbox Live. PlayStation Store pre-orders, on the other hand, will get the codes through a PSN system message for 40 percent off the HD movie bundle "Resident Evil Collection" on the console, Gamerant reported.

In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding the demo of the "Resident Evil 2" remake in "Resident Evil 7" when it launches this month.

Reddit username zisforzombies posted what seems to be a hint on just when and how fans will get a hands on the “Resident Evil 2” remake. The Reddit user uploaded a screenshot from the opening sequence of “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard”, emphasizing a certain code that was the same as the product code of “Resident Evil: Director’s Cut”, which was released in September 1997 and actually included a playable demo of the original “Resident Evil 2” game, iTechPost reported.

A NeoGaf user previously claimed that the strip numbers on the left hand side of the "Beginning Hour" demo featured clues on "Resident Evil 2" remake. The second string of numbers corresponds to the product ID of the first "Resident Evil" in the PlayStation console specifically the "Director’s cut" which that included a demo of "Resident Evil 2".

Gamers speculated that Capcom will include the "Resident Evil 2" remake demo in "Resident Evil 7" as soon as the game is finished and will likely be added in a bundle pack.

"Resident Evil 7" is set to launch on Jan. 24 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and Xbox One.
