Moto G5, G5 Plus, Moto X (2017) expected to launch on February 26

Lenovo officially announced that it will be launching new device (or two devices) on Feb 26 just ahead of MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017. Rumors also indicate that Lenovo may annoucne Moto X (2017) at the upcoming launch event.

The renders of the Moto G5 Plus that was spotted earlier suggested that it will be arriving in full metal body. The fingerprint sensor for the device is placed on the frontside of the phone for this model. However, rumors indicate that the Moto G5 will not include fingerprint sensor.

Moto G5 Plus Specifications and Features

Moto G5 Plus is said to sport a 5.5-inch display. It is likely to come powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset.

The device is expected to come packed with a 4 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 32 GB. Lenovo's new device will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The smartphone is pegged to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It will come with a 3,080 mAh capacity battery and carry support for 4G VoLTE.

Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus Launch Event

The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are expected to be unveiled during the launch event on Feb. 26 at 4:30 pm, GSM Arena reported. It is likely that Lenovo may announce a high-end smartphone at the upcoming event. Hence, Lenovo is also rumored to launch Moto X (2017) on Feb. 26

In November 2016, Lenovo released Lenovo P2 smartphone. The USP of the device is its mammoth 5,100 mAh battery,

The device sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of a 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen come protected with a 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It is packed with a 3 GB/ 4 GB of RAM.

Both the variants come with a 32 GB internal storage and has support for external storage via microSD card of upto 128 GB. Lenovo's P2 smartphone is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, NDTV reported.
