The Moto G5 Plus is rumored to get unveiled in March this years. Its specs, leaked renders and pricing have surfaced.
An alleged prototype of Moto G5 Plus was put on sale on at Romanian version of OLX online marketplace on Jan. 4. The listing has been removed but the leaked details of the smartphone have been already shared on Reddit.
The leaked photos suggest that it is indeed a prototype phone as it carries "Motorola confidential property, not for sale" below the Home button. The seller has refrained from where he was able to acquire the alleged prototype of Moto G5 Plus, GizmoChina reported.
Moto G5 Plus Specifications
Leaked details suggest that the Moto G5 Plus has a 5.5-inch full HD screen. It is running on Snapdragon 625 SoC that is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. Its inbuilt storage is mentioned is 32 GB.
It has Android 7.0 Nougat OS preinstalled. Its rear snapper is of 13-megapixel and its front-facing shooter is of 5-megapixel. The Home button seems to house a fingerprint scanner. It features a 3,080 mAh battery.
The seller of Moto G5 Plus prototype has stated that the smartphone is pegged to announced in March this year. Hence, it is likely that the smartphone may get unveiled during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 event that is scheduled to happen in February. The Moto G4 and G4 Plus were unveiled in May 2016.
Moto G5 Plus Pricing, Release Date
Sans the accessories, the Moto G5 Plus was listed on OLX Romania with a price tag of RON 1,650 ($389).
In the recent past, leaked photos of the alleged Moto X (2017) was spotted. The images of Moto G5 Plus seems to resemble the renders of Moto X (2017).
Since they sport similar design, it is likely that they may be different smartphones with different features. Even though the authenticity of the photos has not been confirmed, they do appear real enough. If the Moto G5 Plus is slated to get unveiled in the coming March, the rumor mill is likely to spill more details on the smartphone in the near future.
