Microsoft still has no updates with regards to the Xbox One Scorpio. Even the product's boss Phil Spencer does not know when they are going to reveal the console to the rest of the world.
Another possibly bad news is that the "Halo 6" game will not be part of the games at the Xbox Scorpio launch. Spencer sent out a tweet answering a fan's question whether there will be new IPs launching and he said that there will be no "Halo" FPS or "Gears of Wars" titles included.
In a statement obtained by Express Online, Spencer said that they are not sure when they will be revealing the Xbox Scorpio specs for everyone to see. When it was first announced by Microsoft, the Redmond-based tech giant gave it a release date for around holiday this year.
The PlayStation 4 NEO was supposed to be the competitor for the Xbox Scorpio but the former has already been released. Microsoft claims that their new console will be the most powerful yet with its capabilities for true 4K gaming at home.
It is now known yet whether the new console will be powered using the AMD Polaris GPUs. Since the new Radeon cards cannot actually do 4K yet, it may make more sense that Microsoft will be using the recently revealed Vega GPUs instead. The Xbox Scorpio price is estimated to be around $599, Tweak Town reported.
Spencer also confirmed in a tweet that there will be no "Halo 6" present with the Xbox Scorpio at launch. There is still a possibility that the game will be available later since the new console will be able to still play Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles.
There is a chance that Microsoft may reveal the Xbox Scorpio at E3 2017 after all. However, their reluctance to give a concrete answer may mean that it will be revealed at a much later date.
