"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is launching for numerous platforms and it will take full advantage of the current generation's power. Bioware General Manager Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that the game will have full HDR support across all platforms, including PC.

Flynn confirmed HDR support was coming in an informal Q&A with fans over Twitter. He initially confirmed it was coming for Xbox One S, PS4 and PS4 Pro. He later confirmed that it was also coming for PC but explained he was not sure yet if it was for Dolby or HDR10.

HDR is notably a niche market at the time being but it won't be that way for long. Launch consoles are slowly being replaced by the more powerful Xbox One S and PS4 Pro and both are capable of 4K resolution gaming. As these more powerful console versions become more popular, demand in HDR support will also rise, Game Rant reported.

Bioware has not yet stated any plans for the upcoming Xbox Scorpio, which launches later in the year. The Scorpio is being touted as the most powerful version of the Xbox One and it is expected that HDR support will also be included once the console is out.

It was previously reported that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will not release for the Nintendo Switch. It is also uncertain at this point if the Switch can even support 4K resolution gaming.

During the Twitter exchance Flynn also confirmed that there would not be an Arabic language in the game during launch. However, the amount of requests has reportedly made him realize how many people wanted to play the game in Arabic and a patch may be released in the future, Dual Shockers reported.

Flynn did not announce when this patch could release or how long it would take to make it. The game is expected to be in English and several European languages such as German and French.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" launches on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe. The latest gameplay trailer can be viewed below:
