Quick fix for your Instagram when it crashes

The photo-sharing app Instagram fan page is seen on the Facebook website on the Apple Safari web browser.

One of the most popular apps the youngsters these days cannot live without is Instagram. It was not long ago when people started complaining about this app crashing every now and then, especially when they are trying to upload a photo.

This caused a commotion because millennials nowadays could hardly live without the social media. Instagram is one of those very popular social media platform that any millennial practically keep in their smart phones.

These complaints were all over Twitter when the users noticed the app crashing when they attempt to upload not just photos but also stories, according to The Next WebIt appears like this bug came along with the most recent update and the users have reported that tapping the + button to upload a photo or a video causes the screen to go black and then the app would crash.

Instagram acknowledged on Twitter that this problem exists for only a small number of people. For those who have experienced this problem, here are some suggestions: 

1. This could work for IOS phones: Restart the device and relaunch the application. If it does not work, uninstall it and then reinstall, then try logging back in again.

2. Reinstallation of the app may help, according to iDigitalTimes. It was Instagram which answered to the report of these complaints and suggested reinstallation of the app to fix the problem.

3. If these things do not help, the advice is to wait for Instagram to sort these bugs out, but you may temporarily login to your Instagram using your personal computer or laptop so that you can have a temporary access. It has a web version which you can visit by going to Instagram.com.
