"Legend of the Blue Sea" finale featured "Saturday Night Live Korea" star Kim Seul Gi in a brief cameo. Details about the character she will portray are still being kept under wraps.

According to Soompi, Kim Seul Gi will serve as a comic relief in one of the scenes in the upcoming finale episode of the hit SBS K-drama. This will serve as a special break from the emotional scenes that are expected from the show.

Kim Seul Gi has already completed filming her scenes for "Legend of the Blue Sea" finale. But the actress is not the only Korean star to have participated in the series in a brief role. Previously, Cha Tae Hyun, Jo Jung Suk, Ahn Jae Hong, Im Won Hee and a whole lot more have also been part of the show, according to IBTimes.

Meanwhile, the fates of Jun Ji-hyun's Shim Cheong and Lee Min-ho's Heo Joon-jae will be revealed in episode 20. There are rumors that there will not be a happy ending for the two characters since their story is very similar to what happened to their ancestors.

Other speculations claim that Shim Cheong will return to sea to live her life as a mermaid. This means that she will be separated from Heo Joon-jae. But the latter may have no choice but to accept her decision than to see her die.

The same thing can be said about "Goblin." When the finale aired on Saturday, Jan. 21, the ending for Kim Shin and Eun Tak may be considered a tragic and bittersweet one.

Other than this, positive storylines may also be expected from the finale episode of "Legend of the Blue Sea." In episode 19, it was revealed that Lee Hee-joon's character, Jo Nam-doo was actually a good person. In fact, he was the one responsible for punishing the villainous characters in their past lives.

Elsewhere, Chi-hyun and his mom, Kang Seo-hee, failed in their plans to murder Shim Cheong. The former took his own life by drinking poison.

"Legend of the Blue Sea" episode 20 will air on SBS on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10 p.m.
